Tour Notes

This is a very nice set of presentations. The surroundings of downtown Shelby don't seem to interfere much with a contemplative visit. The old courthouse has been turned into a museum and makes a picturesque backdrop, in fact it has recently been used as a movie set for a bygone era. There is a distinct and subtle difference between the WW II and the Korea/VietNam dedication text. Were the memorial designers trying to tell us that no women from Cleveland County were serving during the Korea and VietNam wars?
