Burns, Oregon (July 27, 2019) - Oregon has surprised me completely. The west coast counties were the first visted as I came south from Wasington State. The coastline is simply beautiful. The view from the extremly high bluffs dropping to the sea take ones breath away. I didn't know what to expect from the interior counties. I knew of the Oregon Trail pioneers and the hardships they endured, but until I saw these bluffs and canyons I had no idea of their extent. This is rough country and now I understand and appreciate more fully the character of those living in eastern Oregon.

I will be back in this area to visit other counties and I am looking forward to taking more photos  - the northwestern United States is an amazing place in which to tour.
